For a really deep internal cleanse of junk files on your hard disk drive use IOBit toolbox Disk Cleaner.
Goto IObit toolbox from Major Geeks.com and install this tasty piece of software.

Open Toolbox and Select "Disk Cleaner"
Put a check to the left of all your hard disk drives. Keep the "Use safe mode" option selected, then click "Next."
Disk Cleaner scans your drive(s).
The results of the scan will appear similar to this window. Select "Next" to remove the files found.
Select "Delete files directly." In the event a file is needed, it can be recovered as noted.
Files are now being removed.
The results of the removal process are shown.
